NWS Plays at Making Christmas Bright

Now starting its 33rd Season, the group is under the leadership of new Music Director, Courtney Snyder.  Tony Snyder founded the organization in 1977 to provide local musicians who had partipated in school band programs in high school and college a place to play their instruments as adults. Succeeding Mr. Snyder were Music Directors Larry MacTaggart, Dr. Timothy Yontz, Dr. Erica Neidlinger, and Janet McCaskill.  NWS's Associate Director is Chris Tucker.

The mission of the Nebraska Wind Symphony is to perform fine concert band music for the enjoyment and enrichment of musicians and audiences in the greater Omaha area.
